Natalie Stevenson attends the FIA Women in Motorsport Le Mans 24 Hours event

Our Motorsport Programme Manager, Natalie Stevenson attended the FIA Women in Motorsport pre-race get together event at the 100th anniversary of Le Mans 24 Hours which took place on Thursday 8th June 2023 at Circuit de la Sarthe.

The event was attended by ACO President Pierre Fillon, FIA Endurance Commission President Richard Mille and many notable women from the world of endurance racing including world racing drivers, engineers, logistics and communications, hospitality, marketing, and the media.

Natalie commented ‘This networking event allowed us to come together and share both stories of inspiration and aspiration for the future. It was encouraging to see so many young females starting out their careers with real passion for the sport and a shared drive to attract more females into our exciting and fast-paced industry. There was a commonly shared view that the way to ensure diversity and inclusion across the paddock in years to come is to invest in the next generation and it was fantastic to see that the event also hosted the attendance of a school class from the local community, actively engaging young people in motorsport. A special thanks to Deborah Mayer and the Iron Dames for their crucial work with this campaign.”
