Xtrac is looking for an experienced HPA (High Performance Automotive) Team Leader to join our build shop team.

Reporting to the Build Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the operation of a process line within the manufacturing function and supporting them with the day-to-day management of the process area.

You will provide leadership to the lead HPA process technicians, coordinating their workloads and providing support to ensure that the team delivers their targets, key performance (KPI’s), and quality standards to the customers’ expectations.

If you have the following skills and experience, we’d love to hear from you:

• Experience ideally within a motorsport, automotive or mechanical engineering commercial department.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels and in all circumstances.
• Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities with their team members.
• Comply with the health and safety policy and promote as well as enforce safe working practices and react to any issue.
• Previous team leader experience preferred.
• Understanding the operation of a process line within the automotive sector an advantage.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead by example, gain respect from the team and communicate with clarity whilst demonstrating excellence in approach to work and people activities.
