As our business continues to grow, we have more and more exciting projects on the horizon so we’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to support our Engineers in delivering to these projects efficiently by supporting them with project management activities. You’ll look to continually improve the project planning and delivery process by collecting and maintaining data consistently and provide project updates through our Integrated Business Planning structure.

You’ll play a proactive role in the promotion of project management methods and standards, implementation of good project management practice, and the monitoring of projects.

Not only will you support with project initiatives, you’ll also work with the engineering management team to ensure that resource planning, induction plans, PDRs, and training are contemporary to support departmental development.

We work in a fast pace environment and as such, project timings, deliverables and priorities are always subject to change, so we’re looking for someone who is super organised to coordinate objectives and people, has initiative and can adapt to change in an efficient manner.

To be successful, we’re looking for the following skills and experience. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you:

• A self starter with enthusiasm and drive
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of seniority
• Knowledge of Project Management processes and procedures. It would be great if you also had Prince 2 but this isn’t essential
• Experience with data and time management
• Experience in a similar project coordination role or within an administrative support function
• Understanding or knowledge of an Engineering environment is highly desirable
• Be able to work to a high and consistent standard whilst under pressure
• Good IT skills with experience of Word, Excel, MS Access. If you have experience of MS Project, this would be beneficial
