Congratulations to all our customers who had a successful ‘Centenaire des 24 Heures du Mans’ Le Mans 24-hour race last weekend.

84% of the 62 entries put their trust in Xtrac and chose us as their transmission supplier to compete in the 24-hour endurance race.

This year, it was a race of attrition, a lot due to the changeable weather conditions causing accidents early on and during the night at the Circuit de la Sarthe.

Of the 40 classified finishers, 87.5% were Xtrac customers, including 11 of the 12 podium places.

A special mention goes to the innovative car entry the NASCAR Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 which completed the whole race and was a classified finisher in 39th place, an amazing achievement for a single event, and one that proved incredibly popular with the record crowd.

Xtrac provided full on-site support to all our customers at the event for the whole week including test day on Sunday 4th June. Our on-site team would like to say thank you for all the hard work that has been carried out back our Thatcham, UK facility and both our Mooresville, NC and Indianapolis, IN facilities in the US that helped make the event such a success for our customers.
