Xtrac’s Warren Page Recognised in Make UK 130 Honours

Xtrac is proud to celebrate the achievement of Warren Page, who has been recognised in the prestigious Make UK 130 Honours, a special initiative celebrating 130 individuals making an outstanding contribution to the future of British manufacturing.

Created in partnership with Barclays to mark Make UK’s 130th anniversary, the honours recognise individuals whose achievements, innovation, influence and leadership are helping shape the future of UK manufacturing. Selected from across England and Wales, the 130 honourees represent a diverse range of sectors, roles and organisations, all united by their commitment to advancing the industry.

Warren has been recognised for his exceptional contribution to developing manufacturing careers and inspiring the next generation of engineers. Throughout his career at Xtrac, he has played a key role in developing more than 100 engineering apprentices, helping to equip them with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in advanced engineering and manufacturing.

Beyond his work with apprentices, Warren is a passionate advocate for skills development, STEM engagement and careers in manufacturing. Through outreach activities, apprenticeship initiatives and educational partnerships, he has continually championed opportunities for young people to explore engineering careers and realise their potential within the industry.

His recognition reflects not only the lasting impact he has had on those he has mentored, but also his unwavering commitment to strengthening the future talent pipeline for UK manufacturing.

Commenting on the honour, Warren said:

“The most exciting thing about the future of the Engineering and Manufacturing industry is the drive to put into production new ideas and innovations, some done with the help of young people. This shows the training through the apprenticeship and degree routes is bringing forward young engineers for the future of our industry with many employers working together through MAKEUK, GTA England and many more institutions.

This we see at Xtrac year on year with our young budding engineers working their way up with their careers winning awards on the way. Young people who have completed their training are playing important roles across the nation in all forms of manufacturing which is fantastic to see.”

This achievement is testament to Warren’s dedication, passion and leadership, and everyone at Xtrac would like to congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition.

Congratulations, Warren, on this fantastic achievement.
