Xtrac signs the Armed Forces Covenant at RAF Benson

Xtrac is proud to announce it has formally signed the Armed Forces Covenant, demonstrating its commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.

The signing took place at an event at RAF Benson on Wednesday 7th May, with the event bringing together selected organisations from across industry and defence to recognise the important role businesses play in supporting those who serve, have served, and their families.

By becoming a signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant, Xtrac joins a national commitment to ensure members of the Armed Forces community are treated with fairness and respect and are not disadvantaged in their access to opportunities.

As a world-leading engineering and manufacturing company working across motorsport and high-performance automotive, Xtrac recognises the valuable skills, experience, and professionalism serving personnel, reservists, and veterans bring to industry. Many of these attributes, such as technical expertise, teamwork, accountability, and resilience, closely align with Xtrac’s own values and behaviours.

Xtrac is proud to employ veterans across the business, including individuals who have served in the UK Armed Forces as well as in the military services of other nations, reflecting the company’s diverse, multicultural, and multinational workforce.

The Covenant reflects Xtrac’s ongoing commitment to:

  • Supporting the employment of veterans and recognising the transferable skills they bring
  • Providing flexibility for employees who serve as reservists
  • Promoting opportunities within engineering and manufacturing to the Armed Forces community
  • Encouraging a culture of respect and inclusion for military families

Adrian Moore, CEO of Xtrac, formally signed the agreement alongside representatives from the Ministry of Defence. Adrian commented:

“Signing the Armed Forces Covenant is an important step for Xtrac. We recognise the immense value service personnel, reservists and veterans bring through their skills, experience and professionalism. We are proud to support the Armed Forces community and are committed to providing opportunities where they can thrive within our business.”

This milestone cements Xtrac’s strategy to support talented individuals transitioning into civilian careers, ensuring their skills continue to make an impact in innovative, high-performance environments.
