Xtrac employees have been extremely generous over the Christmas period. Our annual Christmas raffle draw took place on Wednesday 18th December, and all proceeds were presented to our locally based charity partner – Time to Talk West Berkshire.
Time to Talk, promotes the mental health and emotional wellbeing of young people aged 11-25. They have over 30 volunteers and in the last year provided over 5,000 free quality-controlled counselling sessions to over 600 young people – face to face, by phone and online with our new digital SilverCloud service.
We had some amazing prizes donated from various areas of the business and sold over 1,000 tickets.
We raised £1,166, and when matched by Xtrac, the total amount donated was an amazing £2,332.
Time to Talk sent a letter of thanks stating – ‘We were absolutely delighted to receive your donation of £2,332 via our Big Give Christmas Challenge. We raised £31,955 in total which will have a massive impact for us.
We would like to pass on our warmest thanks for your support. It really does make such a difference to the young people of West Berkshire, particularly with our continually rising numbers of referrals, and an increasing waitlist.’
