Talent Acquisition Advisor

About The Role

To support the rapid growth of Xtrac, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor on a 6 month contract to help ensure we meet and deliver our resource plans to equip the business with the talent required to succeed in our ambitious plans. You’ll be responsible for managing the end to end recruitment process, from point of vacancy through to offer and onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience throughout. You’ll be given autonomy to manage the whole process, including responsibility for the following:

  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand resource requirements and effectively deliver a resourcing plan to support these
  • Write job adverts and post on to appropriate platforms
  • Coordinating, arranging and participating in screening calls and interviews
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies and external suppliers as required
  • Administer offer paperwork including the accurate preparation of employment contracts
  • Providing candidate feedback throughout the process, including post interview feedback
  • Working closely and building relationships with the business and wider HR team


About You

This is a fast pace role, and priorities change regularly so you must be able to work at pace and adapt to the everchanging environment. In addition to this, we’re looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of end to end recruitment processes, ideally within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment although other industries are considered
  • Be able to build strong working relationships with people at all levels
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Sound interviewing skills and technique
  • Be able to use own initiative and work independently
  • Have high attention to detail and appreciate and understand the need for confidentiality
  • Experience of using social media and job related platforms to source candidates
  • Either have experience within an inhouse recruitment role or a recruitment agency
