The opportunity
Xtrac are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our operations department as we continue to grow our business.
In this new role, you will have the opportunity to create and develop a site maintenance function, establishing policies and procedures to ensure best practice whilst mentoring and leading the department. Providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment, you will take responsibility for planned service maintenance schedules and prepare the annual maintenance budget and forecasts. In addition to this, you will need sufficient machine shop/CNC experience.
Core responsibilities will include ensuring that the machinery and layout run to their maximum efficiency, leading the introduction of maintenance management systems and developing contractor management and service contracts. You will be managing the team to ensure machine availability, optimising equipment to achieve all Key Performance Indicators.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Qualifications in IOSH/NEBOSH, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
Extensive CNC plant level experience – Turning, Milling and Grinding.
Electrical certificates (17th / 18th edition)
Have built maintenance management systems and teams
Significant proven management experience
Understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain
Budget management experience
You will be:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Organised and methodical
- Experienced in managing, coaching and developing a team
- Pro-active with an innovative approach to problem solving
