We are seeking a Graduate to manage and maintain both the company wide project management delivery system (PROJ-X) and the product configuration interface within the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
You will be creating and maintaining reporting tools, both within the PROJ-X (Clarizen) and Epicor environments to monitor the performance of the Engineering department through agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI).You will be promoting a structured Project Management approach throughout the business which aligns to the Project Management development plan.
Other responsibilities will include working closely with both the Engineering department manager and senior management to priorities business and information needs in order to identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in performance data. You will undertake the translation of product options and variants into the company’s ERP system to form the configuration rules and input screens which are used to capture customer specific requirements at the point of quotation/sales order generation as guided by the priorities of the commercial department.
You will be liaising with both the commercial and engineering departments to determine the technical options and variants for each product configuration along with ensuring the configuration interface is fit for purpose, continuously improved, robust yet simple and meets both user and company requirements.
We are seeking an individualwho is a graduate in either IT or Systems.
It is essential for the successful candidate to have knowledge of data and time management using Microsoft Excel, Access and MS Project or similar. Previous experience of database creation and management is essential along with having experience of ERP systems for data interrogation and reporting. Ideally we are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience within a multi-disciplined environment from a design/engineering environment.
Excellent IT skills and the ability to communicate across a multi skilled organisation is critical to the success of the candidate as well and being organised and having a structured approach to problem solving. Candidates will work to a high and consistent standard especially when under pressure with the ability to priortise work to meet the demands of the organisation.
