P1276 GT TRANSMISSION RANGE
Our range of P1276 transmissions made their racing debut in 2020 and has since seen success in GTE/GTLM, winning races and championships. These transmissions will also make their race debut in GT3 championships in 2024. The P1276 range is a development of our highly successful P1529 transmission, repackaging the internals to fit a narrower cluster and to move the C of G lower and forward.
Taking on the learning from the 1,000+ P1529 transmissions supplied to date by Xtrac, this transmission offers race-proven reliability for endurance series. Combining reliability with class-leading packaging and defined service intervals this transmission offers our customers a competitive overall package.
Specifications
- 800Nm (590lbf ft) maximum engine input torque.
- Gearbox Maincase: Magnesium RZ5 or Aluminium L169.
- Side covers: Machined from solid 2014 T6, or cast L169 Aluminium.
- Xtrac plate nitrogen charged plate differential (choice of ramp angles), optional VCP.
- Ground input bevel gear set as standard.
- Narrow cluster using high strength full form ground gears, using XM023 material.
- Straight cut final drive 13:46, 15:50, 16:47 & 17:48 available as standard.
- Clutch shaft to suit customer installation is included, optional MagCanica torque sensor.
- Xtrac manufactured output flanges are included.
- Lubrication is via single stage eccentric rotor pump with filtered scavenge pick-ups.
- Bevel sets, final drives and pinions are manufactured in Xtrac’s vacuum melted steel (XVAR1) for longer life.
