MIA Business Excellence Awards 2022

The Business Excellence Awards Dinner is the MIA’s ever popular business networking event, which for 2022 moved to the Silverstone Wing, being hosted during the two-day CTS motorsport engineering and technology show at which Xtrac were exhibiting the very latest in EV transmissions for motorsport and high performance automotive (HPA).

The motorsport transmission on display at the CTS was the P1316 which is the ‘spec’ gearbox for the FIA World Rallycross (RX) which from 2022 onwards the top RX class is 100% electric, and the HPA gearbox on display was the P1320 from the Lotus Evija, the World’s most advance road going EV Hypercar.  Also on display were Xtrac’s very latest high performance mechatronics (HPM) transmission control system including the transmission control unit (TCU) and integrated actuators which is being used on the next generation of hybrid hypercars.

Winners of the prestigious MIA Business Excellence Awards are decided by the industry and MIA members, who are invited to nominate within seven different categories.  Xtrac partner the top award of the evening, the “Business of the Year Award with annual sales over £5 million“, which was presented by Xtrac’s Head of High Performance Automotive James Setter to Multimatic Motorsport.
