With 51 of the 62 entries, the top 27 finishers and 10 of the 12 podium places being taken by Xtrac equipped cars, we would like to congratulate all of our customers who raced at the 2022 Le Mans 24 hour race. To compete in such an arduous race, customers need quality, performance and reliability from their transmissions system which is why they choose Xtrac.

Across the whole grid, Xtrac provided six different transmission types, including for the new Hypercar class, with 230,000km being completed by Xtrac customers during the race.  With investment in the latest technology, including loaded test rigs and gear manufacturing machinery, and a real focus on providing the very best staff training and development, Xtrac are committed to providing World beating Motorsport transmissions now and in the future.

A technical support team covering Build, Engineering and Commercial, were on site at Le Mans for the entire week supporting the test day, support races are the 24 hours itself. Including the support races (The Le Mans Cup) which had an entry of 36 LMP3 cars and 8 GT3 cars with Xtrac gearboxes, there was a total of 95 cars racing with Xtrac ‘boxes during the event!
