Dorney Lake in Berkshire, saw the 2019 Impetus Private Equity Triathlon take place on 6 July, in which Xtrac entered three teams along with Investment partner Inflexion. The Inflexion teams together raised a mammoth £108,000 for Impetus which will go towards funding disadvantaged 11 to 24 year olds in the UK to support them to succeed in school, in work and in life.
Xtrac’s teams performed brilliantly with Neil Lewis coming 2nd overall in the Olympic distance solo, Xtrac Team A came 2nd overall in the Olympic distance team (beaten into 1st place by just 1 second!), and Xtrac Team B coming 5th overall in the Olympic distance team event. Quality Engineer, Scott McCallen also stepped in at the last minute into an Inflexion team to ride the cycle leg in the sprint distance.
Xtrac are extremely proud of and thank, Neil Lewis, Sam Handley, Adam James, Adam Frewin, Chris Leith, Andy McKendrick, Scott McCallen & Richard Musson for their achievements and on helping to raise money for such a worthwhile charity.
Charitable giving has long been a central part of Xtrac’s and Inflexion’s cultures. The Inflexion Foundation will channel 1% of their 2018 Funds’ profits into improving the prospects of young people.
